After 4 months of ownership, our 60" Vizio TV stopped responding to IR commands. Ran through all the online support for the TV to reset everything (Except a factory reset, can't use the TV period, if I did that) and the remote.

Tried Wii-U IR functions, that didn't work either. Confirmed both remotes working (Vizio remote got new batteries as well) via digital camera. Contacted Vizio for warranty replacement of TV, only to be denied claiming that I purchased from third party/unauthorized dealer on Amazon.

Josh with Executive Escalations is a hardass. My next TV purchase will be a Sony, because at least they last/stand behind their warranty.

Reason of review: Damaged or defective.

Monetary Loss: $850.

Preferred solution: Replace TV with NEW TV. Not refurbished, this set is ~4-6 Months old..
