I purchased two Vizio LCD TV's for last Christmas. A 32" and a 42" model, both new and flat screen.

AS soon as I had cable installed to the 42" one the TV would, after watching about 15 minutes, have a "no signal" on the screen. I called the cable company (seven visits here) and on June 5th, 2012 I called Vizio. The first man was very nice and said it was a receiver problem as the HD receiver boxes need to be set manually on Linear Pulse Code Modulation (LPCM). So the cable company sent out a tech who hooked up an older HD receiver and manually set it for LPCM.

Guess what?

Same problem and Vizio tech people just scream at me as I'm not taking their baloney since I complied. I'm filing suit in small claims as their headquarters is in Irvine, Ca; a few miles from me.
