What genius at Vizio decided to build a TV that needs WIFI to get to the setup controls. ON my E model, 65" I have no internet service.

I am trying to shut off the internal speaker for use with a Vizio sound bar but cannot get to that feature without using the android or os app and both being connected to the same wifi. The remote does not have any setup function. They tell me I will be able to buy a remote in the future to control that feature.....(BUY) what are they nuts? The bluetooth feature does not work with Samsung Galaxy phones.

What genius at Vizio made this monumental decisions.

I think it is time to send a message to Vizio that if they make dumb mistakes, they should be responsible to fix them, not the consumer, not their loyal customers who are about to throw in the towel and go elsewhere, but let everyone in sight know what a lousy company they are and how foolish their engineering designs are. Do the right thing Vizio....give everyone who has your dopey remotes that do not get into the setup mode a correct remote and fix the problem.

Reason of review: Bad quality.

Monetary Loss: $900.

Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.

Vizio Pros: Customer service rep was honest.

Vizio Cons: Engineering design is a nightmare.

you'd be able to use this tv without smartcast. vizio is sending out new remotes to replace the useless remotes they sent with smartcast call and have them set it up for you to be put on the list!!!
