I moved in with my Son & Daughter inlaw,8/1 2015.We went to Best Buy get my new TV for my room.We bought a Vizio 32 inch.08/16/2015.It eas fine up until this january 2016.Then turned t on and it looked ike the picture was melting together and icons looked blury checkedy couldint even promped it to do anything but the sound was on couldint change .Letter melting in and out tried help several times .Never had this problem ever wirh a TV in my life .Best Buy wont give our money back , because we had also bought a wall mount.And i dont even remember if it had a stand in the box.Csnt get oir money back because of a plastic stand.That to me and alot of others is Bad !!! Consumer Beware.Thanks alot Vizio and BestBuy two of a kind.The Kirn Family .You could make it right !

Even if Best Buy couldn't take care of you, call VIZIO. As long as not damage, you should have a one year warranty!

I agree i'm having same situation with a 60" Vizio junk box. I purchased it in August of 2015 and now it's shot 1 year and 3 months later and they will not do anything about it.

Told me to contact ITI also. It's sad that Vizio basically could care less about their product or their customers.

Vizio TV died one month after year's warranty expired

Vizio 42" TV, model#E422VLE purchased on 5-7-12 quit working on 6-30-13, a month after warranty expired. Local repairman diagnosed that the motherboard "died". Cost of the repair $186. It was only after doing some research that I decided on Vizio, thinking that it was a good reputable product and thought I'd get years of good viewing from it. Companies are making a fortune selling extended warranties. If a product is good, it shouldn't be necessary to buy the extended warranty. Based on my past experience, TVs should last for more than 12-13 months! However, based on my experience, I would say that Vizio produces inferior products!!!!!!

I had a 42 inch vizio that lasted 2 years then blew. also had a 21 inch vizio that went out just recentlt. VIZIO IS *** :(

Vizio is a disapointment

I bought a 47inc LCD Flat screen TV from Sam's Club in 2011 and 9 months later the vizio sign would light up but the television screen was black with no sound. I called Vizio and a repair man came out and the television was repaired or so they say because less then a year and of course out of warranty the same thing happened. Customer service said the only thing they could do is give me a discount on a refurbished television. So what you are telling me, is that you sold me a defective unit, repaired it improperly, but I can purchase a repurchase the product. This is unacceptable to spend 800 for a television for less then 2 years. It's disgusting and I will continue to contact and complain and let everyone know VIZIO does not stand behind their products.

Sam's club will take it back if you have your receipt and if you don't have your receipt but they can look up your purchase under your member number they will still take it back. They might give store credit after a long time but they have a reputation of standing behind what they sell.

Vizio sold terrible tv

I purchased a 42 inch flat LCD TV made by Vizio at Wal-Mart almost 4 years ago. I really did not have the extra money to purchase a warranty. Within 2-3 months, a small "ghost " ( shadowy figure ) was appearing in the lower middle part of the screen. It was there 90% of the time. The TV has gotten progressively worse. Now there is a black shadowy box covering most of the left side of the whole screen, and sometimes this travels to the bottom left corner ( 1/4 ) of the television. Since I did not purchase a warranty, I figured I do not have much recourse other than to vent my frustration in a public. I cannot afford another television so I am relegated to watching half of a television. I must admit, sometimes ( maybe 5% ) of the time, I do get a full picture.

Do not buy vizio

My husband and I bought a vizio tv within 6 months of purchase the tv no longer had a picture. We went to the store to exchange it under warranty, but with this company you deal with them directly. We had to take time off work for someone to come to our house to try to fix it. It didnt work. We had to take another day off to wait for a delivery of a refurb tv ( total wait was over a month. Now 3 months later the refurb tv loses all HDMI inputs along with sound. They said all we can do is send you apart and take it to only 2 places to get fixed. We did now along with the other things listed we dont have sound. They then said well we can give you another refurb for $400. The price of our tv is now $400 brand new in the store!!! WTF
