Vizio is a cheap, unreliable telly. Buying a 4k telly is overkill as there is virtually nothing in that format available and even if you were lucky to get REAL 4k programs, you would not be able to discern the difference between it and a 1080 model.

Sounds like someone talked you into buying something you didn't need and a make that will not last as long as you had hoped. As for your problem with something hitting the set, Vizio is correct---it is your problem, not theirs.

I hope you didn't fall for the extended warranty or such nonsense which is nothing a waste of money. Life goes on.

I ratify everything this consumer says about this company. They are dumping defective products.

There is a law firm that is suing them on a class action for this action. I have signed up...they dumped these sets on purpose and now are hoping that wronged consumers just go away.

bought 70" Tv in sept sound takes forever to come on same way on 55" bought 2 weeks before bought 70" contacted VIZIO on 3 seperate occations heard NOTHING when I went online to cheek on complaint VIZIO kept putting "problem resolved" WHAT!!! no such thing all I want is why & how to correct, I will never buy a vizio again

Don't buy Vizio tv!

Bought 70 vizio razor led. Worked great for one year and twelve days. Now is not repairable (bad panel). So twelve days after my warranty is up, it's garbage. Thanks Vizio, had nothing better to do with $1850.00. Their offer was to spend an additional $850 on a reconditioned 65 inch 3d tv with a 90 day warranty, of course forcing me to purchase the additional warranty this time. My dilemma is do I really want to get another Vizio after this experience and can I really afford to spend another $850 when I've already spent so much on a tv that again lasted ONE YEAR AND TWELVE DAYS!

Vizio in Naperville, Illinois - Customer service, what's that?

So, we had the black screen problem... which many people have reported happening to them. All seemed fine and then customer support decided to mess things up. 1) First replacement and delivery was fine, it took longer than I think it should, but still... satisfactory. 2) 48 hours after replacement TV received, a red line of dead pixels suddenly appears - we call support and support takes our info with proof approved after we send them 3 photos of TV. Promised us that we will be able to get Saturday delivery due to our being inconvenienced already for original warranty replacement. 3) 72 hours after replacement set up, support calls us to tell us the replacement has been cancelled - Reason: not enough proof. Apparently 2 out of 3 pictures we gave them magically "disappeared" and therefore they cancelled the replacement without contacting us first. - After speaking to the rep over the phone and providing the same exact pictures again, replacement status was reinstated... but, again, delayed. 4) Delivery set up for a weekday, we contact the delivery company (Manna) for Saturday delivery. They tell us that can only be authorized by shipper (Vizio). We contact Vizio, they say that they can't authorize it, it is up to Manna. 5) Contact Vizio Support via Twitter, they state that if we want to do Saturday delivery with Manna, we will have to pay for the extra delivery costs.

Vizio in Skokie, Illinois - M3D460SR JUNK - died at 13 months

This TV died at 13 months and Vizio says - sorry - you need to contact HDR they are the only service provider (a contractor) HDR will send a tech and they want $394 to fix it. No other options, no service centers, no approved repair shops. Vizio brags about their #1 in customer satisfaction rating - hard to believe- without after the sale service they will be far from #1 very soon. This one will be listed on Craigslist for FREE - as WARNING - DON'T BUY VIZIO you are on your own with this piece of chit !! !!

Don't buy VIZIO

In the last two years, I have bought two VIZIO tv's at Costco. The first was dead right out of the box. Costco graciously accepted the return immediately. The second one failed at 18 months. Costco wouldn't allow me to return it. Vizio (non)seervice said that they would send me a shipping box to return it, and they would give me a reconditioned tv.After waiting three weeks for the shipping box, I called, and they had cancelled and not shipped it. I suggested that they send the new tv, and let return the older one in the same box, saving time and shipping costs. After giving them my credit card tol insure I return the old tv, I am still waiting two weeks for the delivery, although they claim "it's on the truck. Terrible product and service.Never again.
