I bought a 50” Vizio smart tv , in 11 months it developed some vertical lines on the screen. I contacted customer service, they said it had a cracked screen and would not do anything about it.

This tv worked great 1 day and over nite it broke, it has been wall mounted 7 ft off the floor.

I am a senior citizen and I don’t think it has a cracked screen at all, I think they just don’t want to warranty it. There has been nothing hit the screen other than maybe a fly or two, customer service sucks.

Vizio is not really a very reliable brand of telly. Nor is Element, HiSense and some others.

You get what you pay for.

Try a better brand like Panasonic, etc. It is what it is.

Long story short had 3 Vizo 70 inch 2017 models go bad all in one year. Backlight flickering issues. Was told when the first 2 replacements came each one extended my warranty by another 3 months. Exactly 4 days after original 1-year warranty the 3rd TV calls it quits....

Vizio is NOT the most reliable of televisions, altho probably better than, say Element or HiSense. In any event, dump the Vizio and buy a major brand telly like Panasonic.

our smart remote is not working and it is still under warranty.but customer service said we can use our phone what a smart idea!!!! we have never thought of it.or they can send us a basic remote control???? so what is for warranty??? we have 3tvs at home and i have never have a problem like that before or customer service like under quality. don't waste your money and don't buy their product.you would spent hours on phone for no solution.
