Vizio is STILL not working...

While my experience was pleasant talking with Target about my warranty, everything since then has been horrible. Our package arrived to ship our TV to the service company. After about 3 weeks our TV returned and still would not turn on. We called and they said that they has repaired it but to send it back with the power cord (to check it) and they would service it again (If you repaired it the first time this wouldn't be necessary.) We have to wait about 1 1/2 weeks for the label to be mailed for us to ship the TV back for the second repair (we had to call twice to check on the labels for them to be sent). About a week after it arrived at their center they said that it needed a part, that would have to be ordered, so it would be several weeks. Our TV returned today without the power cord they asked us to ship the second time. We bought a new cord. The TV turns on, but there is no picture. When we called and they told us to buy a new HDMI cord. We bought a new cord. Still no picture. Talk with cable technician and there is no problem with our box. We are being asked to ship our TV from Alabama back to New York for service for a third time! We will not be buying another electronic product from Target knowing that this warranty company, Warranty Logistics, will be providing the service. We were also told by a Target customer service rep over the phone that if our TV was not serviceable that we would receive a refund for our product or be shipped a new product. When we asked the warranty company about this they said that there had to be three failed attempts at servicing our TV. What? Also, the warranty is about to expire and the technician made a comment that soon we would to be able to send it back. We have followed every instruction and our TV has come back twice and not been fixed. Seems as though they are trying to push this our until our warranty expires and then will tell us they cannot service it. Unless Target can resolve this problem with the warranty company for us, we will never buy another electronic product from Target. This has been the most frustrating experience with customer service ever with this warranty and service company that Target chooses to use.

Vizio.com

I purchased two Vizio LCD TV's for last Christmas. A 32" and a 42" model, both new and flat screen. AS soon as I had cable installed to the 42" one the TV would, after watching about 15 minutes, have a "no signal" on the screen. I called the cable company (seven visits here) and on June 5th, 2012 I called Vizio. The first man was very nice and said it was a receiver problem as the HD receiver boxes need to be set manually on Linear Pulse Code Modulation (LPCM). So the cable company sent out a tech who hooked up an older HD receiver and manually set it for LPCM. Guess what? Same problem and Vizio tech people just scream at me as I'm not taking their baloney since I complied. I'm filing suit in small claims as their headquarters is in Irvine, Ca; a few miles from me.

VIZIO! DO NOT BUY!

About a year and two months ago decided to replace all of my 10+ year old TV's for flat screens. Went with Vizio to support an American product and was certain they would provide great customer service. MY 32 inch went completely out 1 month out of warranty . Called Vizio and thought at least they could troubleshoot but was told outright my only option was to call a TV repair and pay to have it fixed or buy a new one. I wasn't expecting a new free TV but I would expect something since the TV only lasted a year and one month! Horrible customer service and I have absolutely no faith in a company that doesn't believe in their own product a year after purchase. This particular TV cost $350 and I could have bought an off brand for $200 but figured the off brand wouldn't last. Well, I am going to purchase another TV and WILL NOT purchase another VIZIO. I'm better off replacing a generic brand every year than replacing a Vizio. I had my other TV's for 10 years with absolutely no issues. I have looked around and found many other consumers with the same issue as me!

I hate vizio tvs and their *** employees

My 37" vizio tv quit after only 2 months. Then the only thing they would do is repair it. ***!!! Then they tried to blame it on walmart. Our inlaws bought this tv regrettably but please don't buy one yourself. Big mistake!! Those people that work there have no sympathy because they know better than to biy the *** that they are supporting. Trust me you're better off with no tv at all. Pissed consumer?? That's an understatement but theres no description for how I feel about vizio tvs. As far as im concerned I could take a dump that's worth more than the $300 yould spend on a vizio tv

Vizio sold terrible tv

I purchased a 42 inch flat LCD TV made by Vizio at Wal-Mart almost 4 years ago. I really did not have the extra money to purchase a warranty. Within 2-3 months, a small "ghost " ( shadowy figure ) was appearing in the lower middle part of the screen. It was there 90% of the time. The TV has gotten progressively worse. Now there is a black shadowy box covering most of the left side of the whole screen, and sometimes this travels to the bottom left corner ( 1/4 ) of the television. Since I did not purchase a warranty, I figured I do not have much recourse other than to vent my frustration in a public. I cannot afford another television so I am relegated to watching half of a television. I must admit, sometimes ( maybe 5% ) of the time, I do get a full picture.

Working with Vizio CSR's on a warranty replacement is a nightmare

Had an issue with my 37" TV where the sound would stutter and/or get very loud before going silent. Only way to get should again was to turn the tv off and back on. Their solution was to send a jump drive to update the software. That not only did not work, but resulted in image problems. They sent a tech out to "verify" the problem. Upon verification, they said they will ship a new TV. Due to a problem with the delivery address, they refused to place a simple call to UPS to correct the address. Took 4 calls and 2 text sessions only for them to continue to refuse to fix the address. I ended up calling UPS and just telling them to return it to Vizio as undeliverable without making more futile attempts. Last contact with "Harley" @ 888/849-4626 ext 3134" was that upon receipt, they will contact me for a better address. Gave it to him at the time anyway. I even offered to pay the shipping myself and contract with a courier/messenger company who is local to them to pick it up since I live only 20 miles from their warehouse where it is shipped from. They refused. Said that they do not allow anybody but UPS to do the pickups. I offered to do it on MY ups account so that I can set the delivery time-frame. Again, they refused. They do NOT want to do returns. They make it as difficult as possible to get things repaired under warranty. I strongly suggest you buy Sony, not Vizio.

Don't Buy a VIZIO TV!!!!!!

Ok, so a couple of months after I purchased a Vizio 26" TV (big mistake) these vertical, colored lines started appearing on the left side of the screen. I didn't think much of it at the time but now the lines appear like crazy and there are even a few in the middle of the screen. If the piece of *** TV is left on for about ten minutes just a few lines go away but there's still several left. I did some research and other people get the same problem. The value is the reason I bought a Vizio but trust me, go with some other brand, please. My warranty expired so basically Vizio said haha "***"....

Vizio Customer service is terrible

TV had been having problems off and on for 6 months and Vizio's only solution was to "update the firmware" The problem finally got so bad that I decided to call in again only to find out my warranty had expired last week. I was transferred to someone from executive relations only to be told I was "out of luck" Terrible customer service and no desire to stand behind their product.Provide as much information as possible, you will not be able to edit your review but you will be allowed to add on to it if you create an account during the submission process.

Vizio is horrible. I had the same issue - they sent me a firmware update and it made the TV worse.

Now they tell me its out of warranty and nothing they can do.

Customer service manager was rude and not willing to do anything. Will never buy a Vizio product again.

I believe that they use the same tactics on each customer as the tech center is in Utah. Yet, their main office is in Irvine, CA.

Irvine is a few miles from me and I'll sue them in small claims for a Warranty Contract Breach.

I've sued and won before, thanks to following a companies policies. I've also collected my money!

Vizio products are ***

I have 4 vizio TV's all flat screen lcd's. Within 1 week of the warranty expiring 2 of the tvs stopped working within 4 days of each other. Vizio customer service was no help at all. Now my 47" vizio gave a hdmi error screen after working for almost 2 years......I unplugged it and tried to restart it but it will not even power up now. Vizio refered me to a tv repair shop that wants 300 dollars to repair an 800.00 tv that is less than 24 months old. Also the customer service at vizio is horrific...they spent more time advising me that their quality was the best in the industry and that my experience was not reflective of their products quality!...Really??? 3 out of 4 TVS go bad but that is not reflective of quality??? Wow. Spend the extra money and get a better quality brand.....it will be worth it in the long run
