Vizio review in Epsom, New Hampshire: 55" TV constant problems
I Bought new 55" TV Nov 28. It lasted less than 2 months until it failed to respond to any remote and had a tech replace the wifi and main board. Now a couple of weeks later the picture keeps flickering. This $800 strobe light was a huge mistake. The customer service has been less than helpful thusfar After researching the product and problem on the internet I have found that this problem is far from unique. Vizio seems to have an issue with their products lasting more than a year. At least mine is less than 6 months old so maybe there is hope they will fix it.

Vizio review in Portland, Oregon: Product and CS failure
I purchased a CoStar directly from Vizio after being in a backorder situation. I finally hooked it up and had a series of issues relating to video and sound that lead Vizio to tell me they wanted to replace the unit. I gave them my CC# so they would ship a replacement unit which showed up about a week later. I attempted to use the refurbished unit only to have the same issues with picture and sound. Working with the tech rep again we could not solve the issue and they suggested replacing this unit after talking with their engineer. They asked me for my CC# again at which point I told them I wanted to return it for a refund. They told me I would need to pay for the return and likely be assessed a 10% charge. I objected, we talked and they agreed to credit and issue a return label. I got this agreement on a Friday. When I still had nothing the following Tuesday I called CS. The rep told me the first rep had not filed the claim correctly and that he was taking care of it. Two days later I still had no email or label so I called again. I was placed on hold and their phone system hung up on me. I called back and got a new agent who I explained everything to again. They placed me on hold and when they came back they said that is was "being worked on" and that I should hear from them in 24-48 hours. I asked to speak to a supervisor. Several minutes later I get a woman who says she is a supervisor. I explain the situation to her and she says they need to email the warehouse to find out what's going on and that I should hear in 24-48 hours and that there is nothing else they can do. All CS people were courteous and apologetic but offered no solution other than to continue to wait.

Vizio review in Adrian, Michigan: Tv broke after 13 months
Bought a new Vizio tv 13 months ago and it wont turn on.Contacted customer support and said out of warranty by 1 month, too bad.I feel product is junk and would like to give a heads up for other people considering one.I have other name brand led tvs that range from 3-5 years old with no problems .I feel that this tv died prematurely and that customer support is happy with the year warranty as long as they got your money. This company has poor product and poor customer support.would not recommend to anyone.waste of money

VIZIO VHT215 Home Theater Sound Bar with Wireless Subwoofer shipped incomplete
The sound bar was purchased for our apartment in Chicago, Il. It was purchased online from Amazon and the order was fuliflled by Trendy Gifts. When we visited Chicago in late January we took possession of the package which had been delivered (unopened) to the package room of our condominium building in early January. When we opened the package we found that the mounting brackets were missing. Otherwise, the unit functioned properly, but we wanted to mount the speaker baron the wall beneath the Vizio speaker. When we returned home to Ohio after the weekend, I called Vizio to ask for the brackets. I was told that without the serial number and proof of purchase (which I have), they could do nothing for me. Luckily this past weekend, we had friends in Chicago who agreed to go to the apartment and get the serial number. Unfortunately the number that they copied down was apparently not the correct one as I was informed when I again called Vizio customer service today. The company simply refuses to satisfy its customers by completing an incomplete order and are falling back on a policy that is onerous and designed to benefit the company at the expense of satisfying a customer. The small metal brackets are worh maybe 10 cents but are spawning a major complaint from an otherwise satisfied. customer

Vizio review in Skokie, Illinois: M3D460SR JUNK - died at 13 months
This TV died at 13 months and Vizio says - sorry - you need to contact HDR they are the only service provider (a contractor) HDR will send a tech and they want $394 to fix it. No other options, no service centers, no approved repair shops. Vizio brags about their #1 in customer satisfaction rating - hard to believe- without after the sale service they will be far from #1 very soon. This one will be listed on Craigslist for FREE - as WARNING - DON'T BUY VIZIO you are on your own with this piece of chit !! !!

Vizio has horrible customer service
This TV we bought through cosco had an extended warranty for two years. The Vizio TV has been a piece of junk since the beginning. The picture brightness goes in and out and audio fluctuates. The dumb *** at vizio keep having me downloading new hardware updates and they won't replace the motherboard when the problem is that. I am very disapointed with Vizio and will never buy another one. If you are going to buy one might as well bend over and let your friend kick you in the butt. Worstttttt..... purchase ever...*** off Vizio your products suck butt

Vizio review in Los Angeles, California: 6 month old television broken
We purchased our Vizio Tv at Costco nearly 6 months ago. It now only turns on to show the Vizio logo but will do nothing else. When we called customer service they said they would be in touch. I called them again five days later and they said we had been “approved.” Approved means they will fix it I assume. They said we would receive a call from a repair company. After a few more days a repair company called and said that the part they need is backordered and they have no time frame for its arrival. So that’s it. I have tried to ask questions on Vizio’s Facebook page but all they do is delete my posts.

just out of warranty when the tv starts acting strange. When I told the VIZIO tech I would tell everyone not to buy a VIZIO unit he said "I don't blame you". I would like to try to reset it to factory defaults to see if that would work but the tech says there is no way to do that. The only solution offered was to take it to a service center and see it they can fix it. When you pay close to a $1000 for a TV you should expect it to last more that a year and a half. I will not ever, I repeat ever, buy a VIZIO product again.

My Vizio TV has had audio problems virtually from day one. The TV makes loud gurgling and knocking noises and the sound is alternately muted and comes in and out. Attempts to remedy it through the supplier, Costco, and the manufacturer, Vizio, have proven unsuccessful;...
