VIZIO won't honor their warranty

Purchased a 55" VIZIO television December 2013. October 2014 - had a black line across the top of the TV. Called VIZIO - they ask for 2 pictures - which I sent to them in November. Due to some personal issues - I didn't not follow up with them to make sure they rec'd the pictures. I then resent the pictures in February. Of course, they called to tell me the television was out of warranty. Yes it is but the process started when it was still in warranty. They won't do anything about it. I feel that the company should repair the TV since it was defective only 10 months after purchase.

I bought a 60" Vizio in Dec.2014, In March it got a Red line down the right side. Vizio replaced my NEW TV with a Refurbished Tv since I had the TV more than 30 days. Now the refurbished TV has a line down the left side of the TV and since it has been 90days they will not replace/fix the TV. I think this is criminal! I will never purchase ANYTHING vizio again and I will take the time to post ALL over the internet and anywhere else how awful the company and there customer service is!! They actually admit to the fact that you are not TOLD the replaced TV only has 90 days, it is ASSUMED when you take the refurbished TV!!!!

Half of the screen is dark, not even a year and a half old, I called Visio and they said there was nothing they could do. I went with vizio from Samsung cause I heard vizio was better. I heard wrong. Gotta go get a Samsung again now.

Why not just buy a quality tv instead of thinking walmart garbage is going to perform well. Look at all of the complaints about walmart here. How long before you id1ots figure it out?

We experienced same issue. Definitely will not buy another Vizio if this is still the case.

A firmware update should be issued to fix this or give consumer another product - trade-in. We were given an older Sony Bluray 3D player and it plays the newer disks that This Cizio olayer will not.

Bought $600 Vizio E500i-A1smart tv. No apps work. Signal strength for wifi is 4 of 5 bars. Customer service said cannot troubleshoot and will not honor warranty. I Requested that a technician be sent out and was refused on multiple times. Tv is 3 months old.

I have now had two Visio E600i-B3 units delivered. The first had a HUGE horizontal line through the middle of the picture. After calling Visio and sending multiple pictures, eventually their customer service "authorized" a replacement. Several weeks later a subcontractor calls and blots out half a day to accommodate delivery. When the replacement shows up the screen was crushed to a milky spider web. Visio customer service then offers another round of pictures and investigations or they offer to come get the defective product and "MAYBE" process a refund check for the $850 in "POSSIBLY" 60 days. Avoid these products the unless you enjoy receiving defective products and getting the run around when trying to resolve the issue.

Vizio Tv Review

I brought a vizio on 11/27 and the next day once tv was put up...noticed the base is wobbly and the picture quality is horrible. Theres a flashlight shadow on the screen when it turns black and some sort of picture delay, that when a scene changes it gets left behind like a stain.

Bought 42" E420i-A0 March 1, 2014- tv would randomly shut off. Now about 6 weeks ago started shutting on an off constantly and freezes with the logo on the screen. Called three times was told to " power cycle" the TV told them been there and done it and now I have nothing. Their response after sending multiple pictures and copies of reciepts - well s ne done one out in 6-10 business days! What are you kidding me?!? So here we sit waiting on terrible service. Very frustrated wish I would of done my research before we bought vs after!!! This is a common problem with their products!!!!
